Privacy Policy
Our values
Guard Email sells none of its user data, even anonymized. You're the customer, not the product.
We take the privacy of our users very seriously, and we have implemented various safeguards to ensure that your data remains confidential. Our security measures include encryption of data at rest and field level encryption for sensitive data, and we have a strict policy against sharing any user data with third parties.
Introduction
We do not store your email content on any of our servers. We only access the minimum information needed for the add-on to function: your email address, alias configuration, and subscription status. All email forwarding is handled in transit — we do not read, analyze, or retain the content of emails sent to your aliases.
We do not share your data with any third party.
Guard Email adheres to the Dutch safe harbor privacy principles of Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity, Access and Enforcement. If you have any questions about this Policy, please feel free to contact us at support@guardemail.com.
Google policy disclosure
Guard Email's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data storage and location
Guard Email processes data on servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. We are based in the Netherlands and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data Protection
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, as well as physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked to individual users.
